Axton wanted to get in the tub when he saw Cosi in it this morning, so I put him in too. When I returned from helping Cosi on the bus, Jace announced that Axton had pooped in the tub. I don't really mind him getting it out before I put a diaper on him. After I was able to get Axton dressed, he was so cute and playful. He was being so much fun, it was hard to leave him to teach my dance and yoga classes. Isabelle had come, so I left to teach.
When I returned, Isabelle and Jace had been playing together, doing the boredom buster jar ideas. It seemed like they had a lot of fun. I love Isabelle, she is so amazing and helpful. We are lucky to have her helping us. She really makes everything much less stressful. I was able to meet up with Jake Morrell to give him his picture book from his graduation. He was in Taylorsville taking his classes, so he came a little bit father west to meet me. It was nice to get that to him and it was way nice to see him again. I talked to him about how I felt about Phil letting me go and how it bothered me that he had lied to me about the reason. Jake gave me some good advice. He said that if I allow my mind to worry about it, then I am letting them win. I should just let it go and not clutter my mind with it anymore. He also suggested to pray for Phil and Adam that they might find happiness. He said that this would help me to feel better. It was great seeing him, he is doing so well!
Cosi went to Emma's house because Emma was being stubborn about wanting the play date over there rather than here. I was fine with that, Cosi was reluctant because, of course, she was also being stubborn about it. But she went and was happy. I was able to clean off the stack on the kitchen counter. It looks so nice and our counter looks much bigger. I know Gavin thought so because he decided to lay across the kitchen counter while he played during electronic time. It was a site :). Gavin had cheer today, so I was ok with him wanting an easy dinner of shells and cheese with hotdogs and apple slices.
Jolene took Gavin to Cheer practice tonight. I love that he enjoys that so much! The boutique we are doing as a fundraiser is in less than two weeks, and we need to get everything ready. I'm feeling slightly stressed, but it will work out.
We had a great day, we miss our daddy, but I can tell that the Lord is helping us get through it. I have received a couple texts from people making sure we were ok. It is so great to feel the love from others, we are very blessed! I am going to try and give a scripture each day, so we can study together. Here is one that I love, I'm still on the "patience" theme: Mosiah 23:21-22. Please read it and know that I am thinking about you. I am trying to be patient and trust in the Lord. He will bless our family through these times. I love you!!
