So I haven't posted  in a little while, sorry!  I wanted to take the time and make sure to get some pics loaded so Daddy can see his kiddos.   This week has been eventful, as all our days are :).  Gavin went to the dentist today and was amazing!  He was so extremely perfect!  He let them take x-rays, but the film that goes in the mouth kept gagging him, so they couldn't get the pics.  Even though it was gagging him, he told them they could keep trying, but they decided to stop.  He laid so still in the chair, watching the movie.  He was working really hard to get his new tooth brush.  Also I had told him that I would take him to Wendy's to use his free frosty coupon, if he did well at the dentist.  He has no cavities and doesn't have to go back for 6 months.  I took him to Wendy's after the appt and he went in all by himself and got his frosty, while I waited in the car.  He was so proud of himself, and he should be, he was absolutely amazing!

Tonight I turned on our furnace and it never kicked on.  After a little bit, I smelled gas and ran to the kitchen to see if one of the burners was switched on, but they were fine.  I smelled gas again when I was by the back sliding door and realized it was coming from the vent.  I smelled a couple other vents and smelled it in each one.  I turned off the heat and called my dad.  He said to call the gas company, so I did and they told me to evacuated everyone in the house and wait in the car for them to come and check out the house.  It was rough getting the sleepy children into the car, but we did it and they cleared the house.  Everything was ok, so we were able to come back in the house.  The guy turned on the furnace, had to light the pilot again.  Anyway, it was an experience :).

It has been a great day. I really don't know what else to say because I am tired.  Good night!

Today was busy.  Jace went to school with no problems.  He admitted that he was a little nervous, but I told him that there are people watching out for him.  He is so cute!  Gavin was so excited about wearing his costume to school and it was Pajama Day for Cosi.  Gavin had gone to his party at Camp K yesterday and I washed his costume so he could wear it to school.  He had taken the name tag (from last night) off and saved it so he could wear it on his costume at school today.  He wore it all day, he is so funny!  Jolene and I went to Gavin's school to see him in the costume parade.  He was so excited to see us and he didn't cry about wanting to stay with us either.  He was so happy!  I have noticed that I have not taken many pics of Jace lately.  I am going to have to work on that.

Cosi came home with so much candy.  She opened all of it and shared with Axton, he was a sticky mess within 2.3 seconds :).  He is definitely a sugar fanatic, I am going to have to watch the amount of sugar in our house because he cannot stop!

I did all the laundry today, including sheets and blankets.  I also packed all our bags for this weekend.  I really want tomorrow to run smoothly so we all can relax and have a good time.  Everyone is excited, its going to be a great weekend!

Suki called me today to announce that she is going to be a grandma!  I am so excited for her.  She is going to be the best grandma ever!  Also, Bowman's had their baby on Tuesday.  It was a boy and he weighed 10lbs!!

Jace went to Taekwondo and gave me issues about going in.  He said that he did not want to go to sparring.  Blah, blah, blah.  I made him go in and once he saw they were throwing balls at each other, he had a huge smile on his face and was ready to play.

Gavin chose pizza for dinner, so we got Papa Murphy's Jack-o-lantern pizza with "spooky" cookie dough.  Isabelle watched the kids while I went to Krav Maga.  It was a good day, I am pleased :).

We did really good today!  It was crazy hair and sock day at school for Gavin and I was able to get Jace to school and figure out his issue for him.  I also had a talk about standing up for yourself and for what is right.  He seemed motivated and he said a sweet prayer tonight, asking for help to know what to do when kids are mean to him.  He is going to do awesome!

Cosi refused to go to dance today, so we went to find Gavin a cat costume.  I never realized it would be so difficult for a boy to dress like a cat for Halloween!  We figured it out though.  Axton had fallen asleep in the car and I just had to take a picture of his amazing eyelashes.  Don't mind the dirty face :).  Cosi had to buy a little sewing kit at the dollar store, so when we got home, I showed her how to weave the thread in and out of some fabric with a needle.  She loved it and did pretty well her first time, yay!  Cosi chose our dinner today, Shells and cheese.  She had a good time making it for everyone and felt so important.

Gavin brought home his school pictures and I love his smile in them.  They are so great!  He dressed up in his costume and went to Camp K for their Halloween party.  He had a great time!  He has been so good today, hardly yelled at all and was very agreeable.  It was a good day for him!

Jace and I stayed up a little later tonight doing his homework.  It seems he doesn't mind doing it if he has some help.  He finally has some homework that requires him to actually think :).

Axton is becoming a little turd!  He hits me in the face if I don't so everything he wants me to and he screams right in my ear all the time.  My ears are ringing so much throughout the day.  He is also so much fun.  So happy and playful.  He is beginning to repeat sounds that are getting closer to sound like formed words.  He is doing great!

"We, the First Presidency and Counsel of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of his children."  I think I might begin to try and learn the second paragraph tomorrow.  Love you!

Jace was a problem going to school this morning.  Everyone got ready was fine, until the bus pulled up.  He unbuckled and stood up to leave the van.  I said goodbye to him and I hoped he had a good day, then he stopped with the door open and complained that he didn't want to go.  I told him to just go today and we would talk about it after school, but he refused.  I told him firmly to go because the bus is about to leave.  There was nothing I could say that could get him out the door.  Then the bus drove off.  I did not know what to do, I was so confused about what had just happened.  He usually loves school, he had just received straight A's on his report card.  Something has changed his mind about going and I could not get a good response from him.  He is refusing to go to school tomorrow as well.

I taught dance and yoga today.  We had our Halloween parties.  I taught them the "Thriller" dance, we did an obstacle course and then we shared healthy Halloween snacks.  I bought clementines, peeled them and stuck a celery stick in the top and they looked like cute little pumpkins.

I went visiting teaching for about an hour and it was really helpful, actually, to have Jace home.  Axton had just fallen asleep before my appt, so I told Jace to stay home and listen for the baby.  I went to visit one of our ladies and by the time I came home, Axton was awake, out of his bed and was extremely happy.  Jace said he had just woken up before I came home.  If I had to take Axton with me, he would have been ornery.  I do like having Jace home because he really is a helpful kid.  He has been so excited to learn Samoan and the Haka!  I really don't want him to miss out on that then regret it in the future.

Gavin went to cheer tonight and seemed to really have a good time.  After the kids went to bed, I began to cover one of the kitchen chairs.  You will find a picture of a sneak peak of what they are going to look like.  I love it!!  The other pics:  Jace wanted to show me his bubble beard and I had to get some pics of Cosi's curls (I think her haircut was good for her).

"We, the First Presidency and Counsel of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the destiny of His children."   Oops.  I forgot"...for the eternal destiny of His children".  I may need one more day before I begin the next paragraph :).  Love you!!

This morning, after we took Jace to school, Gavin reminded me to give him his pill.  A little later, Gavin said, "Mom, there is something in my body that makes me do this (he began shaking his head). I didn't get my pill."  I was confused since I gave it to him.  We looked on the counter and found the pill, so he took it.  I was impressed that he can feel a difference and this was the first time he actually expressed to me how he feels when he doesn't get his pill.  I am grateful that the medication is working for him and I am grateful that he is getting to the point that he can tell me how he is feeling.  He found your sun glasses and hat, out them on and said, "look I am a dad."

Both Gavin and Jace talked to me about going to school, trying to convince me that they should not go.  Gavin said he was sick, but that soon wore off as soon as he wanted to play around with Jace.  Jace told me that he doesn't like math anymore because times tables are hard.  I told him that they were really hard for me when I was his age, so I know how he feels, but we can work on them together.  He then told me that he feels like a couple kids at school are bullying him.  I am worried about that because he is such a small kid.  I am going to have to look into that further.

Cosi got her hair cut today.  She was pretty excited, then was disappointed afterward because she felt like her hair wasn't short enough.  Funny girl, she is her mother's daughter :).  I think the new style grew on her though because she became really happy with it and showing it off.  She is so cute and her hair looks so much more healthy.

Axton and Cosi liked to squirt the cleaner and wipe it off.  They worked together and went all over the kitchen cleaning everything.  We now have very streaky windows, haha.  It was cute to see them both so into it.

I have a goal to memorize The Family A Proclamation to the World.  It is very long and will take me a long time, but here is what I have so far (typing this from memory):  "We, the First Presidency and the counsel of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and the Family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of his children."  First paragraph down, much more to go!

It was pretty cold this morning.  I had to bundle the younger two up before putting them in the car to take Jace to school.  Gavin found a jacket he wanted to wear...it was my fake leather, fashion jacket.  It looked pretty funny, but at least he found it himself and put it on.  Cosi went to dance class and she loved it.  She went with me to Sam's Club afterward, then we got pizza and took it to Grandma Jo's house to eat and get Axton.

Gavin is doing really well with his reading homework.  He is saying most of the words without reminder cues.  I am pretty sure he has it memorized, but he may surprise us.  I forgot to mention that yesterday he was looking at some lights I had purchased for their pumpkins.  The lights were still in the package and he was examining it.  Then he asked, "Mom, why are these led lights?"  I was confused and did not know what he was talking about.  He repeated, "Why are these led lights?"  I realized that he was reading LED Lights on the package.  I was super impressed!

Cosi was playing around with some punch balloons and put the elastics around her belly, then said "Mom, I'm a bee.  buzz buzz buzz".  It was cute because it did look like the round end of a bee with the stinger.  Cosi is getting to be quite the little drama queen.  Anytime someone says anything to her that might make her mad or make her think she is in trouble, she will run, hide, and scream.  Fabulous!

After we picked up Jace from his bus stop, we were able to get ready and go to Leatherby's to celebrate Jace's straight A's.  I wanted him to recognize that he should be proud.  It was fun.  Axton was a huge mess afterward, it was amazing!

We were able to drive through the parking lot to the spot where we drop Gavin off for his Camp K activity.  It was really good timing, oh yea!

The rest of the night the other 3 kids were going crazy...it was a happy crazy:).  We melted red crayons on our pumpkins to make them look like they are bleeding.  SPOOKY!

Today was hard to be as patient as I was able to yesterday.  Gavin just gets under my skin and I feel like I can't hold it in any longer.  He whines, cries, yells, screams, talks so rude to everyone constantly, and I won't even get into how he acts when he is in a bad mood.  I really feel like I can't take it any longer.  The other kids don't deserve to be treated the way he treats them and I feel like I am having to protect them constantly when he is around.  I wish he would just stop!!

Anyway, that was not a very uplifting opener.  Jace was able to get on the bus again this morning and things went pretty smooth.  Cosi was acting like a pill this morning.  I had to carry her on the bus as she whined about not wanting to go.  That was not like her at all.  Isabelle came and I went to teach dance and yoga.  I was happy to see that all the kids were back in the first class.  We have fun.  In yoga we did silly poses and I snapped a couple pics of them making a "Purple People Eater" at the end of class.  I love to see the kids enjoying class.  It is nice to get back into it and it is very nice to finally get paid from everyone in the class :).

We went to the dollar store today and Cosi went crazy.  Everything she saw she wanted "for her birthday" and put it in the cart.  It was not even just typical girly stuff, it was everything she could get her hands on, like napkins, plastic containers, halloween masks, etc.  I got some stuff for the boutique on Saturday.  I also got a few things to decorate the house because I wanted to see Gavin get excited when he came home.  I decorated the front door with decorative plastic.  I used masking tape to tape it to the door, so on the inside you could see the strips of masking tape.  So I made more strips, added eyes and a mouth and (tada) we have a mummy door!  Gavin was happy with it, but then started being rude to Cosi and Axton because he was terrified they were going to rip the stuff off the door and ruin it.

Gavin went to Cheer and Jace had a movie night at his school so Jolene and George took Cosi and Jace to his school.  It worked out great!  Tuesdays are hard to get the kids in bed since we have activities that are later in the evening.  Tomorrow I will get the opportunity to practice my patience again and I will do better :).  Jace brought home his first report card of the year.... Straight A's!!!  He is so awesome, yay!!  I love you, good night!!

I spent a while typing up a lot about when on today, then the computer would not publish it, but kept saying that it was saving it instead.  So I refreshed the page and my whole post was gone.  I now have to start all over and I am really tired, so I am not going to type any more tonight.  I feel really sad because it was a good day and there was a lot that I wrote about.  My mind is not working anymore and I don't even remember where to begin.  I will attach the two pictures that I have from today and some that I have from the our weekend with Daddy.  Good night!!
