Jace was a problem going to school this morning.  Everyone got ready was fine, until the bus pulled up.  He unbuckled and stood up to leave the van.  I said goodbye to him and I hoped he had a good day, then he stopped with the door open and complained that he didn't want to go.  I told him to just go today and we would talk about it after school, but he refused.  I told him firmly to go because the bus is about to leave.  There was nothing I could say that could get him out the door.  Then the bus drove off.  I did not know what to do, I was so confused about what had just happened.  He usually loves school, he had just received straight A's on his report card.  Something has changed his mind about going and I could not get a good response from him.  He is refusing to go to school tomorrow as well.

I taught dance and yoga today.  We had our Halloween parties.  I taught them the "Thriller" dance, we did an obstacle course and then we shared healthy Halloween snacks.  I bought clementines, peeled them and stuck a celery stick in the top and they looked like cute little pumpkins.

I went visiting teaching for about an hour and it was really helpful, actually, to have Jace home.  Axton had just fallen asleep before my appt, so I told Jace to stay home and listen for the baby.  I went to visit one of our ladies and by the time I came home, Axton was awake, out of his bed and was extremely happy.  Jace said he had just woken up before I came home.  If I had to take Axton with me, he would have been ornery.  I do like having Jace home because he really is a helpful kid.  He has been so excited to learn Samoan and the Haka!  I really don't want him to miss out on that then regret it in the future.

Gavin went to cheer tonight and seemed to really have a good time.  After the kids went to bed, I began to cover one of the kitchen chairs.  You will find a picture of a sneak peak of what they are going to look like.  I love it!!  The other pics:  Jace wanted to show me his bubble beard and I had to get some pics of Cosi's curls (I think her haircut was good for her).

"We, the First Presidency and Counsel of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the destiny of His children."   Oops.  I forgot"...for the eternal destiny of His children".  I may need one more day before I begin the next paragraph :).  Love you!!
